Effective life of a solar business = 1 president

I'm sure being as broadminded as you are, you felt the same about computers back in the mid-80's when they were several times more expensive than they are currently. Some things never change but others change plenty.

so you think Hillary won't be a proponent of solar?

"First U.S.-Mexico Wind Energy Project Faces Legal Challenge

Tisdale is leading the lawsuit against Energía Sierra Juárez, which also names the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Fish and Wildlife. Among other things, the lawsuit claims the Department of Energy issued a presidential permit without considering environmental impacts in Mexico or alternative clean energy projects, as required by law.

The Sierra de Juárez mountain range where the turbines are located is part of what environmentalists call “the Western spine” of North America. The landscape includes coniferous forest, desert scrub, chaparral and piñon pine. The area is home to the endangered Peninsular bighorn sheep, mountain lions, California condors, golden eagles and other cross-border creatures.

‘I would like to see Californians take more responsibility for conservation in Mexico because it is all one landscape’
Opponents to Energía Sierra Juárez argue the wind farm hurts wildlife and is disrupting migration patterns on both sides of the border."

‘I would like to see Californians take more responsibility for conservation in Mexico because it is all one landscape’
The irony of the most environmentally conscientious state in the union is hand in hand with the U. S. government in depriving Mexico of 99% of the water that used to flow across the border into Mexico. It damaged an entire deltaic environment beyond repair.

The Rio Grande only somewhat better. A "Wetback" is now more like a "Wetankle" ... sucking water into the agricultural places of S. Texas. Which side of the Rio looks like it is getting the most water?

Do they have wi-fi in Leavenworth?

Guess again.

I paid $3k for my first PC computer before there were hard drives and monitors. Paid an additional $50 for an RF modulator to connect it to the TV. When you turned it on it was a black screen with a white:

A:/

Hillary?

Oh that figures.

Let the husband get away with cheating to keep the political power in the family. When someone won't stand up for themselves, I don't ever expect they'll stand up for anyone else either. We'll see how many sheeple out number the rest of us next year.

Are you starting the Cheslea 2024 drive yet?

.

the point on the computers (which you chose to overlook) is that they were hardly widely affordable at $3K+. Technology improved, manufacturing processes improved and voila! They are a fixture in virtually every home at far more reasonable prices Solar technological improvements perhaps? Or should we throw up our arms and say "Marion"s right" it will never catch? :rof:

As to Hillary, we the "sheeple" will certainly feel for you when she's sworn in as our next President.

The photovoltaic cell was developed in 1954, how much longer will it take Pete? Seems most of the solar advancements could be attributed to global warming.:rof:

I know some believe that free energy is another inalienable right, like emmigrating to the United States. :rolf:
