Serovital doesn't do anything that I am aware of except empty your wallet. Take a good NMN supplement and starting eating a Mediterranean diet, exercise moderately (isometrics) and you will eventually lower your diastolic pressure.
I trying all these supplements for eye, omega, joint, and recently Ginkgo Biloba which supposedly helps my brain. Not sure if its working.

"Blood pressure generally is higher in the winter and lower in the summer. That's because low temperatures cause blood vessels to temporarily narrow. More pressure is needed to force blood through narrowed veins and arteries."

Anyone find this to be their experience....

Strokes happen more commonly in winter - Dec-Feb higher risk..prolly same reason. More people die in winter.

This is what I found:
“Previous studies have found a relationship between winter weather and increased rates of stroke. It has been reported colder weather makes blood vessels constrict, which can increase blood pressure – a major risk factor for stroke. However, researchers have also found the blood tends to thicken and become stickier during extreme cold, which makes it easier to clot. Most strokes are due to blood clotting, which blocks a blood vessel to the brain. Our bodies’ reaction to cold weather tends to put added stress on the heart as we “clamp down” to preserve heat and energy.

Additionally, researchers have discovered humidity also plays a role in our stroke risk. High humidity in the atmosphere can cause some people to become dehydrated, increasing the risk of blood clots forming. Overall, researchers have discovered a pattern of stroke rates – higher in winter months, lower in summer months, with a temporary spike around July.”

This may be why it is good to move south to warmer weather in the Winter.

Yes. It actually may have something to do with the barometer as well. I know when the outside temps go below -20 my BP will rise no matter how warm it is in the house.

Purchased my cuff in 2022, read the quick guide, watched a few videos on YouTube....
All suggested the proper way to take the test is to sit up, feet flay on the floor uncrossed, arm rested on flat surface, cuff at heart level, blah, blah, blah....
Whenever I go to the doctor's office, neither the doctor nor his assistant follows the suggested directions....
I don't know if anyone else has the same experience....

Exactly, they take it w/o any of those things addressed.

They also say your arm should be at heart level, feet flat on the floor and should take it 3 times with 5 minutes rest in between and average the results.

I've done it and my average results are well into the healthy range, while my first one would just about always be in the hypertension range

The latest is that BP should be measured while you are laying on your back. That's a return to the way it used to be done.

My BP is so hit and miss....
Took a reading last night before bed, 106/76....
This morning 1st BP before breakfast, 146/96....
Must be my dreams, which I usually don't remember when I wake up....
