She had support until she did what she was hired to do. Many at the top thought they could put on a show of reform by hiring her and manipulating her. They thought wrong. So they turned on her in near record time, and now the wagons are circling. People who know better are maligning Dr. Chance's character and credentials in an effort to save their own rear ends and maneuver for positions. Favors are being traded and promises are being made, it's the same old same old at national. Steinley: During the time that I’ve served on the executive committee the last three and a half years, I believe I’ve helped the Appraisal Institute move forward in a number of key areas. For starters, we have a new CEO. We engaged a professional search partner and completed a nationwide search to identify Cindy Chance. As the new CEO, she’s made a tremendous number of changes in her first seven months including needed modernizations in staffing and reorganizing the entire business enterprise to be more efficient and better serve our members and chapters.
