Now, now.....children! If you don't want to work for an AMC...DON'T DO IT!
It's a business, kids, make your own management decisions. I would agree with those who stated we have a reputation of being angry, rude, and hostile. Caught myself doing that the other day. Lender ask me if I even went into the house. Went off on her like a junk yard dog. After thinking about it for a couple of hours, I called back and said.."I am sorry, I should have been more professional" . She said she was sorry too and would be sure to use me in the future because I had the guts to admit I was off base in my response to her.
Like it or not, the AMCs are here to stay. For some, it's a good place to start out if they haven't developed a good local client base.
Finally, Shelly, don't expect many here to "feel your pain". Sorta reminds me of the time I went to the lenders forum and said....."can't we all get along?" Was laughed off the site. Ridiculed, belittled, and told how we were screwing up the lending industry.
Thus sayth the old guy!
