Very true. Makes sense!Small town real estate agents do this all the time. A non-broker owns the company, and hires an older or retired broker to be the agency broker.
Contractors only though.

What exactly is precluding your supervisor from wanting to 'be on their own'? Age is not a reason. Is there some reason they cannot get work on their own? Some non-compete agreement with the current owner?
If you could source work would supervisor do it then?
Exactly!!Add an AMC in there and it is four parties wanting a slice of revenue for work completed by just one person.
