I'm an appraiser in the Chicago aera. Just looking for some opinions. Is this market so slow that looking at molasses on a tree is faster?

Yeah...this year has been slower. These last 2 weeks have been the slowest 2 weeks I can remember.

Just uploaded my last report. Looks like tomorrow I'll have time to catch up on some of my Army paperwork.

It was very slow in our office for commercial work December through March then seemed to pick up in April but is slow again. Not as bad as it was earlier this year but still slow.

Very slow here in my area since March. Sales volume is up from last year and the market is stable/steady but I'm not busy at all. My refinance numbers are the same as last year but the purchase business is not coming my way. Don't know why. I actually enjoy it and can get used to it..
