That's a nice strawman you've got going there.

I'm not asserting appraisers are racists. Not now, not ever. I'm not asserting there's a big problem or a little problem with racist appraisals either. I don't know how common/rare such misconduct is - and neither does anyone else, including you. The only thing I do assume about it that you might disagree with is that I think the number of real examples of misconduct is more that zero.

Here is an example of how the accusations of appraiser bias and racism are being presented. "you are biased and racist" prove me wrong. It may be "guilty until proven innocent". But when it comes to accusations of bias and racism. That is how it work across the board in today's environment. Like it or not.

By this warped definition of lobbying, every no-money-included response from appraisers to the various exposure drafts advocating in support of changes which may/may not further their own business interests have also been "lobbying". We should probably all register as lobbyists.

How much is TAF and surrounding organizations money a year? TAF can't pay their budget. Who pays all of those sponsored salaries. and expenses to eat out and travel or whatever?

Is that graft? Is commingled fees graft?
