So what? That still doesn't take away from the fact. That TAF lobbied for something you said they did not do. You're digging a bigger hole for yourself with each post.
How much did TAF spend on lobbying in 2020? 2021? 2022? (hint: you will not find it on Schedule C)

Where did TAF lobby? Who did the lobbying? Was it TAF employees, trustees, or professional lobbyist?

Peace to you and yours.

I mean officially. I want it on record where FED and STATE let me cast my votes for positions. Your not grasping me yet.

Thank you for your input Sir Gregoire.
Sorry, there is nothing I am aware of in state or federal law empowering your vote.

More personal attacks on practicing appraisers by members of TAF no surprise there. is this Kelley Queen of Davids's new strategy? Go scorched earth?
The comment was about anonymous keyboard warriors. Specifically avoided mention of a name, screen name, or profession.

So now you’re admitting TAF does lobby?

I don't get why appraisers can't elect these positions, Fed and State.

I don't guess I will ever get it.

Lobbyist is my first inclination.

Thanks for answering the questions. Make sure you spell my name right in your notice/inquiry/complaint to the IRS.

Peace to you and yours.

you see what they really think about the independent appraiser...anyways, fg is on a roll, too much kool aid drinking :ROFLMAO:

It seems to me that if a member of the ASB commented that AO-13 has been a thing for many many years where in USPAP parlance an appraisal is an appraisal regardless of the nomenclature, that such commentary would not amount to an act of "lobbying".

It is entirely appropriate for TAF to advocate and "lobby" govt for appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications. That'sd part of their day job - to promulgate standards and qualifications. That's nowhere near "lobbying" a state govt to either include or exclude a defined act from their enforcement programs.

But by all means, monitor their spending carefully in case they try to BUY some politician's vote for the next ten years at the price of an extra cup of coffee or a scone at one of their meetings. That would be horrible.

i thought the paying sponsors did all the lobbying... :rof::rof::rof:
