Taxes: I was able to get all my taxes figured out using Cointracking.io . It took me about a month to figure out how to get it to work. It can do a "read only" on all my exchanges and figure out my taxes. Some of the balances are way off as far as exchange balances but the taxes appear to be right. The "API" read only capability has a few glitches but the thing at least can figure out your to tax burden. It can do it LIFE or FIFO and determine the short or long term gain. I was paying in my taxes all along, but was way in arrears as to what I actually owed. The big picture is to pay your taxes so you can be a HARDENED HOLDER over the long run.

It would be terrible to go through a civil asset forfeiture in 5 years only to see all your work to be lost. I'd rather hold 1 bitcoin and have all my taxes paid than to hold 100 and dodging uncle sam. At least I know what is mine in the eyes of the law as best I can.
