Concessions field being eliminated from MLS!

James I have taken your advice and added NNEREN's phone # in the reports and put similar wording in my reports.

Shouldn't we notify some sort of media on this?? I can see the head lines now.... NH properties have been artificially inflated by 3-5% over night due to greed!

I am poised to issue a press release to the local print, radio and TV media, banking commission, senators and congressman, but have been asked by those higher up in the foodchain to wait for a bit as there are things being played out outside of the public eye. Trust me, if things do not work out, the public and the media will be informed of the raise realtors just gave themselves at the publics expense. People will be upside down the day they close, bad loans will be made based on bad appraisals (CYA, add those disclaimers!), and foreclosures will get worse. They were told this and more at our meeting, they listened but did not hear, the sound of money can be deafening.

Keep those phone calls and emails barraging NNEREN! Word has it things were quite busy over there today, wait till the lenders (and their attorneys) start calling!

Jim

PS Kate, did we ride down in the elevator together after the meeting? If so I wish that you'd introduced yourself!

Jenn,

Is your mom doing okay?

James,
I think we did but I am not sure. I was in the elevator with George Brooks. I was the pregnant blonde. I feel as if everyone was in a rush after the meeting and I apologize that we were not properly introduced. I had hoped more people would be able to go to Panera Bread after but we had a nice group and conversation there as well.

Sorry I missed it...after rescheduling my sons dentist appt, he ended up home sick anyway.

I really wanted to meet everybody and say hi to a few friends I knew were going.
Jenn

Bumming that I did not get a chance to make it there.

Rumor has it that there is a chance that the NH P&S agreement may be changed to reflect the fact that seller concessions will be disclosed. If this happens NNEREN will have to find another excuse to fatten their commisiions as the "it's confidential" BS won't cut it. Lets Hope.

Jim

They just changed the p&s because of the new agency laws...it'll probably take another year for them to change it again.

Sounds good though.
