One of my sons is also in masonry construction. He worked for a company until the end of Spring 2024 when their orders decreased. With no other jobs available in Oregon he had to clean up homeless **** for the city while still looking for construction work. Jobs finally started opening up a week ago. He interviewed for another masonry company on Monday and was hired today. Yeah, **** the illegals!

Sounds familiar except my son's company won't do tar/gravel roofs at all. Most of his customers want and all he sells are rubber roofs. The company will strip the tar roofs so they can install rubber. Sometimes he gets a contract for a large apartment complex that wants typical, residential type shingles but never tar/gravel.
