The 2' foot fall that killed Grandpa...lol

I spend more time than I like at the local assisted living facility. 2 elderly people have died this year from falls on level ground. Hit their heads, brain bleeds, death within about 30 days.

The funny part is.....your brain actually thinks you can make it....it's good when common sense prevails and you crawl down.

When I jog across the street to get out of the way of an oncoming car.....I feel like a bear running on its hind legs across the road.

I'm not saying I was Superman when I was young, but I was very athletic. Crazy how much things change. For me it was the 'after 50' years. Prior to 50, I don't recall ever worrying about whether my @$$ could keep up with my brain. Now I don't trust my brain one iota.
