Disto E7500i Information And Opinions

The D2 has the +/- thing as well.. Im just asking because many seem to think the minimum is the 7500..though not sure why

I tried a D2 (its for sale BTW) and found it difficult to use its so small, and the laser did not seem nearly as strong as a D5. I also has a shorter effective range which kind of supports the weaker laser. I wound up buying another D5.

I just bought the D2, hopefully it works well when it gets here. I think I will be happy as i am replacing an old A3 that wasn't working well anymore. Good price point at $153.

I wanted the camera point finder and smart horizontal, but couldn't justify a few hundred dollars more for those two features.

Bosch's are hundreds cheaper and have blue tooth, with apps, and they are smaller. And you can use them for woodworking.

The Leica DISTO D2 I bought was $153 on Amazon has a range of 330 feet and is bluetooth enabled. Seems like a good deal to me, but I use ACI so not sure bluetooth helps me.

So......6 months later I'm still using a good old fashion tape measure. A majority of the appraisers around here also, still use a tape measure. Maybe someday..........
