Disto Vs Bosch Laser Measure

i have now used the fujifilm XP several times. is an underwater camera which means it can take good pictures in dark area. digtial zoom which works well & won't break first. it is a wide optical lens. has a lot of features to meet the type of photo you will need. waterproof & shockproof. has a usb recharge. not too big, can wear around your neck.

I tried that with a Disto years ago, not sure it was that same model, but I didn't find the screen very easy to see or use, I returned it.
I have an anti-glare screen protector on mine, so it is fine in daylight. I never used it without so I'm not sure how it would be without

I just got the Bosch so no battery life experience yet, but the Disto and the Bosch both take 2 AAA batteries and the battery life is not an issue at all with the Disto. Batteries seem to last for very long time and just keep spare set in my car. My camera has a rechargeable battery and battery time is horrible. I need a new camera with a wide-angle lens. Any suggestions?

Disto D810 has a proprietary replaceable lithium battery with long battery life.

I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with a Canon 10-18mm wide-angle lens. The lithium batteries last quite a long time. Also, I always carry a backup battery and car charger.

I can't imagine using a camera without a wide-angle lens to shoot interior and exterior photos. The only time I find a lens with more zoom nice is shooting comps for rural properties. A wide-angle lens is a game changer. It is really useful.

I agree, have a similar camera set up as well. Had to use my 24-105 mm point and shoot camera the other day, big difference.

KEH sells used cameras and in the <$200 range there are a lot of older good digital cameras and you can buy a wide angle lens - I recommend an 18mm or 18-70mm zoom. You can get a 10-15mm but you get a 'fish-eye' effect sometimes.

Never had a problem with the fish eye effect on 10mm.

I used to carry around a Rebel size DSLR years ago (still have it). I need something that will fit in my back pocket. No one has ever complained about my appraisal photos using a 23mm +/- wide angle point and shoot. Trust me I would prefer the DSLR results, but too big and awkward for me to hang around my neck with all the other crap I lug around.

I bought a fancy Disto and it must have been a lemon it was awful. Went back to my cheap Bosch and what I can't hit from outside I do from the inside.
