I agree with David, this needs to be on the top and every appraiser should share it with their peers. I see 1636 views and only 37 posts. Pam and her attornery need our support. If you take your role as an appraiser seriously, support her. I know there are those waiting to see how their workload will increase from E since many may jump ship. I need work more than anyone, but I am not going sacrifice my ethics by turning my back on whats right and wrong.

People are going to support Pam however they support Pam. We have to be careful what we post publically. Those 1636 views may not be 1,636 people. Some come back to add more comments or just to see the new posts. Pam will not be responding to this thread, but I know she sincerely appreciates ALL of your support. Let's keep the public comments GENERIC and to the point of the thread. Send whatever FACTS you have to the attorney, DO NOT POST THEM HERE!!

If the thread gets out of hand, I'll will have to take it down. We do not want to diminsh or put any obstacles in Pam's way by publically discussing the merits of her case or any details we may be have of our own.

Bobby, many of us have talked to Pam personally, and want to keep our opinions off this public forum. Believe me, there are MANY (who choose to remain anonymous) who support Pam. But we still need to spread the word to other appraisers who don't frequent this forum.

Looks like Pam's letter quoted in the first post has been exposed in Appraisal Scoop, which I believe is Ken Verrett's blog. Somebody else posted the blog into another forum, and at least one person there has pledged a contribution. Things are rolling.

I'm going to to the post office before I get tangled up in daily life and forget to send the check.

Finally,

We have a forum in this law suit that may generate some sense in this business we call appraising.

I, for one, thank the appraiserforum.com for allowing the issue of these abusive tactics to be aired on here for awhile, but for whatever reason the support of those in control of the forum has been withdrawn as far as discussing it here.

We will never solve what is happening to our profession without courage and Pam has demonstrated that. Not rashly, but with conviction and full knowledge of what might happen.

This is it folks. It's time to put your money where your mouth is. The forum doesn't want to hear about it, the lawsuit does. Leave the forum to what it wants and doesn't want, that is not the issue. Fixing the problems we face is the issue.
