FED Holds Steady

He looks old, very old. And very tired. the FED is no country for old men and yes, I am retiring very soon. In fact, haven't done an appraisal in a month.
Having been in the blame for 11 hours straight, I still have jet lagged.
Give Powell a break, traveling is tiring.

Powell gave in to possible rate cuts. Dow Jones went up 800 points which I like but....
Not sure if right decision whether Powell was "forced" into making a cut. The independence of the FED is at stake.

Employment numbers is on the scales. Housing is not really in picture big time locally anyway.

Employment and inflation are main factors Federal Reserve Bank looks at.

Employment numbers are working against inflation at the moment. That fight won't last. They are married.

Tariffs are just now taking impacts. Just now starting to show true colors.

I say by Christmas, we will know more.

Consumer price index for August will come out soon. Be a huge factor with Federal Reserve Bank. New employment numbers will come out.

Independence of a secretive cabal that answers to no one and runs and owns the central banks?

We have a clear runway for cuts, as the deficit has decreased considerably from its highs during the Biden era. The lack of stimulus spending has softened the labor market, giving Powell a green light.

Current interest rates are really hurting the market. DOW currently up over 900 points. OTOH, maybe they know something the rest of us don't. No surprise there.

The cane is not an indication of light travel. It indicates pain and arthritis.
Over in Europe, I bought these $398 arch soles (Good Feet) for my abnormal feet. I didn't realize one of my feet is flat footed.
The salesman claimed the arch should correct my balance thus alleviate the pain on my joints.
When I mentioned that I have pain on my left leg, he showed me some stretching exercise to fix my sciatic nerve (just stretching? that's the reason I wanted to buy the soles).
Anyway, I will see if the soles have any improvement to my joints and posture.
