My sister and I are selling a home and they buyer went FHA on the deal. I was to meet the appraiser over there at 11:30. I got there at 11:08 and he was already over there. Said he got there at 11:00 and was already completed. I asked him about the inspection and (not knowing that I was an FHA appraiser), stated that all he did was run some water and turned on the heat. He also claimed that he went into the attic. I went into the home and water was NOT run in any of the bathrooms (only kitchen sink) and the attic had not been viewed (as this was recently painted and no marks or paint "breaks"). He also said that he did not open any windows and did not test the electric or any electric sockets. What should I do with this guy?? Mr Pack and others any guidance? Would like to turn him in !!

I think your complaint would be greatly based on he said she said and may not go very far. I am sure by the time the board get to him the story will change and you really have little or no proof. If you really want to nail the guy wait for the appraisal.

David, I do have photos of no water being in the sinks and the attic scuttle not being removed!
