Global Economy Bursting?

Just reading and listening last night and this morning and it appears some in the know are saying no NFL season this year and most likely a limited NBA season at best. The elements of the perfect storm keep falling into place.
In my view, this is no accident. Some where-some place- some one is pulling the strings. Is "Atlas Shrugging?" It would appear so.

l like it when we add 18,000 jobs and the unemployment rate goes up from 9.1 to 9.2%. It just adds so much to the credibility of government statistics.

It simply means people are attempting to re-enter the workforce which translates into they feel more positive about the economy, their savings are getting low, or their government handout is simply not enough anymore. I lean towards people feeling better about future prospects in the economy more than anything else.

Leaders of the barbarian horde speak out .

... the barbarian horde looks to use the 14th Amendment to by-pass congress on the debt ceiling.

.... Senator Schumer (NY) indicated that the barbarian horde will investigate whether they can use the 14th Amendment to install the new barbarian horde leader/financial dictator ...

.... Schumer's reasoning is that we don't need no stinking congress for anything financial ....

....

When is the last time congress passed a budget?

The creation of the debt ceiling was a way for congress to avoid approving borrowing for specific projects. It was easier to just hand over a "credit card" and say buy what you want.

Apparently Schumer is correct, we don't need no stinking congress for anything. After all, they don't do their job anyway.
