Fact based analysis is very hard to find these days. Have you actually seen demand data for India and China, or merely read a story with unsubstantiated claims? The Internet has made it very difficult to find reliable information. Fabrications are so commonly repeated they can be quite difficult to identify. There is no doubt the economies of India and China are growing, but I have yet to see credible links to their growth and skyrocketing metals prices. All I have seen is speculation of some cause and effect.
