The recession is not equally bad everywhere. Why is unemployment nearly 12% in California but less than 6% in Oklahoma? Don’t people in Oklahoma use ATMs and automated airline ticket kiosks?

We could go on for hours discussing Obama's economic disconnects with reality. The fact of the matter is, we are not merely trying to beat him and his policies in the next election. We aren't dealing with Obama's successes and failures in the public eye on a truth basis because of the MSM. We have to fight the misrepresentation and coverups that the MSM has done for this guy.

There's evidence of his failure, corruption, and far worse all over the place and not only will the MSM fail to cover it, they actually take on a campaign to destroy any who try and bring the truth to light or challenge Obama.

Problem is that borrowing binge is overwhelming America’s savings pool, this despite a private sector desperately trying to refill the pool. The fact is, U.S. Treasury borrowing has taken some 110% of net U.S. private savings (NPS) these past twelve months. You can’t grow the economy and thereby raise government revenues, we submit, when that same government is sucking up the very fuel for that growth.

Me: Oh yes you can, according to and what is called the broken window theory of economics. Just look at the benefits of all that spending - so what if you borrowed and printed the money.

At $14.3 trillion, gross U.S. Treasury debt is now 96.7% of nominal GDP. And publicly held U.S. Treasury debt is a startling 864% of NPS. This debt of course is nothing more than deferred taxes, with interest to boot, and its growing larger by the day.

Me: That's because they haven't printed enough money. Borrowing is a net sum zero. Either you inflate debt away or you default; exchange $1 of debt for $0.50. Or raise taxes and cut spending to service the debt.

Acronyms and text speak? You mean like H & BU, USPAP, DCF...

Actually I've seen MSM used to refer to the Main Stream Media on many online discussion boards, and not just by twentysomething Gen Xer types. Old farts and middle aged farts like you and me.
