Going back to the gym

I got my new pants online yesterday and it's too tight. Ugh.
I admit I only went to the gym once this month and I'd been eating lots of snack especially at night which broke my cardinal rule of not eating after dinner.
I've been eating my spoils from Hawaii - roasted honey macadamia nuts, taro chips, macadamia shortbread cookies, & ahi tuna jerky. Yummy.
During the pandemic, people gained weight. I didn't know it was going to affect me.
It must be the Nordstrom brand line which doesn't fit true to size.... but Banana Republic also tight....Hmm.

I went to the gym two times this week. I like to go when less people there.
Tonight Thursday had a lot of people. I was surprise. What is this? Got to look good for the weekend.
I noticed that Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday have less young people.

My slim fit shirts are getting tight.
Have to tone down a bit.
I have to return a size large shirt back to Nordstrom. Don't know why it looks tight on me.

I go around 4:45AM. Its a good way to start the day and avoid the crowd :)

Dam, you wake up early.
I go near closing around 8 PM to avoid the crowds and it's still crowded.

Get a home Gym, look into brands like Vectra that have floating bars and space saving features. Also get a set of dumbells then your set.

I'm not discipline enough. I bought one of those thing that I go upside down with an angle hold. Used it once and never again, just sitting in Family Rm (happens to be my doggie's room now).
The gym is the greatest where I can use the machines efficiently to work on my back muscles which ache from hours on computer.
Also, I now go with my wife and I use their tread mill. So glad Costco was backed up and cancelled the tread mill order my wife had previously order. Costco even gave a $100 gift card as an apology for not sending me the tread mill. Love Costco.

Every year I buy a pumpkin but this year I was going to forego since my children are away in college and lost that Halloween spirit.
Last week I was in Costco and I saw the biggest pumpkin
It was heavy, must be at least 50 pounds.
I was able to bend down and pick up that huge pumpkin (my back, ugh!) and put it in my cart.
Glad working in the gym has its benefits.

Costco pumpkins are not 50lbs.....you might want to increase the weight training
