Isn't it amazing how you can regret the ones you didn't get and at the same time regret the ones you did? If you had got'em all, I wonder how it would feel.......

Here it comes again. Young bull and Old bull standing on a hill looking down at all the young cows in the pasture. Young bull says to the Old bull...lets run down there and get one of those cows. Old bull says to the young bull, Listen son, why don't we just walk down there and get them all?

Is this kinda like fishing stories? You guys are remenissing about the good ole days?

:rof:

Not sure how old the days are...........but I promise not to tell any stories about the last 3 months.........

I prefer the offer I once got, God...she was good lookin! Unfortunately I was too happily married, Sigh. Could just see listing that in the appraisal report and transmittal letter. LOL.

NEVER get laid where you get paid!!

We do work for a bank with a very specific ethnic customer base. About 1 in every three of them tries to offer me a stack of bills to "get some breakfast". I am not sure if they think I need to bulk up a bit more or they want a higher value for their home. ;)

I've always turned it down, but the language barrier can be difficult. I am thinking this is culturally acceptable/expected (?) for this group of people, but I'm not sure.

I did take a bottle of water however. It was ablut 100 degrees earlier in the week and I was out in the sun measuring a contemporary for about 45 min's when the construction manager came over with it.... and the damn plans to the home I was trying to measure :)

Lesson learned....new home, ask for the plans FIRST!

Why dont you guys stick to the question asked instead of the locker room talk? Who are you trying to impress? If you were'nt self employed, you'd be in sensitivity training by now or unemployed. No wonder lenders think that appraisers are a joke. Just when you think this forum represents the appraisal profession, the conversations turn to garbage. Doesnt anyone edit this thing?

BE PROFESSIONAL.
