No joke dude... between film and overnight expenses, my overhead dropped about 30% overnight.I remember how much I saved on film for the first few months after I purchased my first Sony Mavica. I also remember being told by a few arrogant "peers" that digital photos were not yet acceptable by USPAPAppraisal fear is always guaranteed if one references USPAP.

I don't know. That seems like a pretty interesting (and relevant) topic. Especially interesting if it's one of the offerings someone hasn't tried yet.No need to speculate about what the software companies are envisioning for 3.6, here's a live demo scheduled for tomorrow:

Nice strawman. Nobody here said that. Neither did anyone say the these changes are aimed at making it better for the appraisers. Can't wait to pop back in here in a couple of years to hear how easy it is to now do Abomination Appraisals ... on second thought - I won't! (I'll be attending the Olympics)![]()

I just don't get when someone retires why they have to try and make others who still have to work feel so bad.
I remember a guy years ago who kicked everyone and preached how bad the business has treated appraisers. He retired and died 8 weeks into what he thought was his freedom.
I believe older guys or ones retiring should be mentors not discouraging the others with non stop negativity that helps nobody but themselves.

Has that ship sailed?I just don't get when someone retires why they have to try and make others who still have to work feel so bad.

Someone should buy Glenn a mirror for his house.Has that ship sailed?
Pretty hard to "mentor" a bunch of geezers.(Seems they're set in their ways). The only thing that's got me PO'd is that I am still chained to this computer (doing work). I pop in here from time to time so as not to lose focus. Once I retire early next year ... you won't see me here ...
