....one more down-side from the transition allowing alias names to proliferate within the participants in this Forum. In-synch with these changes is the noticeable increase in rancor and spiteful remarks that are blasted toward others in so many posting threads that linger on and deviate off-topic...and simply turn sour.

....yes, there is a lot of angst in the marketplace, yet it is becoming almost ludicrous that not one week can pass without another new appraiser registry and sign-up service emerging.....and they ALL claim to have overwhelming contact with the lender community.....and they'll share that with YOU....if you buy the rights to your county or willingly split the fee.

With all the current chaos and future trauma that this industry is experiencing one can only hope that there evolves a re-unification between end-user of the appraisal report and the appraiser in the field who provides it. This is not that tough to accomplish. The broad diversity of multiple middlemen and "managers" of appraisal reports has resulted in the definite loss of valuation quality, hands-on and eyes-on analysis of local market data, integrity of the delivered report and maximal preservation of Public Trust.

we have no contract with any of them binding us to perform. We could boycott them. If we could. It takes an appraiser. If we could organize to boycott them, they would have no choice but to respond. Are there appraisers out there who would betray the rest? That might be a problem.

NO . . . . but thank you. I simply do not feel that this forum offers enough validity to enter any real information about myself. It is nice that you have the extra time to check into things of this nature though. I'll tell you what - for a small fee I will tell you how to market yourself effectively, so your days are not filled with typing on this forum.

Well, that is just about the worst marketing tactic I've ever seen. "This forum (which means the people posting here) doesn't deserve the truth from me when I sign up. However, give me some money and I will tell you how to market effectively."

That is freakin' hilarious.

Worst. Marketing. Ever.

i gotta go. I'm new here and this is fascinating. This reminded me of the time when I walked into a redneck bar in the middle of PA (i kinda cross culture) with a buddy who is a biker. THE place went dead instantly and I got us out of there before we got killed. Y'all really whooped up on the dudes! LOL. Thanks, I think I will fit in here!

Many of these marketing geniuses consider lying and marketing go hand and hand...

(My bolds on the above quote). We don't have to, I think the lenders already do :rof:
