Who cares about any profession besides the people that are in it? But in the appraisal world we seem to have some who appear to hate their chosen profession and actively lobby on the side of those trying to destroy it.

I have such little respect for anyone in a profession who doesn't fight for the side of upholding their highest of standards.

Nobody here is doing any lobbying for or engaging in any advocacy on behalf of these lenders. These users have figured out on their own that there are a lot options for appraising besides the conventional 1004.

There is nobody to "fight" except your users, and even if there were others to fight appraisers have nothing to "fight with". You wouldn't be in this situation if your users thought the 1004 is the only legitimate form of appraisals that exists.

Your conflict is with your own clients and users, not other appraisers. Apparently, they don't like you like that. Go figure.

Bunton was wrong to say it that way, but it makes no difference. Bunton wasn't/isn't among the top 20 reasons your clients and users don't love you enough to be monogamous.

Why? They're not the ones who are constantly complaining about why your clients don't love you enough to nurture your well-being.
