Hot off alamode press, maybe not exactly ready.

I got an e-mail from those ****ters a while ago asking if I wanted to do appraisals for $150 for a full 1004. They said something about it being part time work and thats why they pay $150. There is no way there are dumbass appraisers out there that would fall for this stupidity....I think.
Pathetic - is where the GSE "modernization" led? Marginalizing appraisals and driving the best and most experienced away from Mortgage lender work? Seeing these sleazy (ino ) start-up companies take a segment of the AMC realm and further exploit appraisals with the new dynamic format that these companies can auto-populate?

Give us some examples - any AMC I ever worked with or am aware of lets appraisers submit on our own software forms.

Companies offer tech such as auto fill , I am not aware of them being AMC's either, but that is not my client base.

True Footage is a data company, as far as I know. I tried their product of dots on a grid (they call it a heat map) and I thought it was not credible. The fact that they are jumping into the AMC realm and specifically mentioning looking for appraisers who want to fast-track UAD3.6 work makes me question whether the dynamic format may have been designed with this kind of marriage of appraising to a tech company in mind.

Then again, a bunch of companies have emailed me over the years as having lots of work and looking for staff or in some cases fee appraisers - yet one has to wonder, if they have all this volume and amazing opportunities, why are they always looking for appraisers?
The company I formerly worked for also had a tech company. They had an LOS system that was used by a LOT of lenders. And they provided a LOT if infrastructure that facilitates the movement of reports/data from one system to another. Pretty much every AMC of any size is owned by a company that also has a tech company, and that (plus the title business) is where they make most of their money - not in the AMC business.

New to you does not necessarily mean it is actually new. TF operating as an AMC is definitely not something they have recently "jumped into."

Of course, an AMC would need to use some tech - we individual appraisers use it as well.

When did True Footage organize as an AMC? I will not work for them as an appraiser, regardless. I think their heat map product stinks—if they offer any good data programs that integrate with Spark, I would consider purchasing it.

AI Overview

No, UAD 3.6 is not inherently cloud-based; it is a data standard that can be used with different software platforms, some of which are cloud-based. Appraisal software vendors, such as ACI and Alamode, are developing or have launched cloud-based tools and platforms to help users transition to the new UAD 3.6 standards.

Understanding UAD 3.6
  • What it is:
UAD 3.6 is the Uniform Appraisal Dataset, a standard for appraisal report forms developed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

  • What it does:
It standardizes data elements and definitions within appraisal reports, ensuring consistency and data-driven reporting.
How Cloud Computing is Involved

  • Software Solutions:
    .

Vendors are building new platforms, like ACI's ACI Sky™ Suite and Alamode's mobile tools, that are cloud-native and designed to support the larger dataset and dynamic nature of UAD 3.6.
  • Benefits of Cloud-Based Platforms:
    .

These cloud-based solutions can offer benefits such as real-time data validation, enhanced collaboration, and improved mobile accessibility for appraisers working with the new UAD 3.6 data.

Not sure what you mean by the first comment. Throughout the day I have seen many posts with incorrect information based on assumptions and/or false information. I was simply trying to put to rest one such assertion - the claim (that has been posted here many times) that software for UAD 3.6 had to be cloud based. I noted that I installed a demo (which the provider is making available to many appraisers for testing) to demonstrate that I knew some software was not cloud based from first hand experience, not from reading it somewhere.

Anytime you wish to provide input you know how to reach me. :)

IDK why ALAMODE is making it cloud based _ since they are my software company I thought that UAD 3.6 was cloud based as well .

if UAD 3.6 can be simply accessed as a non cloud based form, why isn;t ALAMODE doing it...I will ask them.

It was an attempt at humor, figure you needed it after interacting with J. Grant.
