$700 for last several years, going to $750 for most CA areas on May 1. There are some remote CA counties with new fees of $850 and $1,000.

Btw, has your turn time changed? :)

thankfully no 10 calendar days but multis in DC went up to 1k Im going to ask to be added back I used to get a lot of those there and they are super easy

whats this i see flacco talking about tracking your porsche? you track? i used to solo2 bitd and have done some other fun stuff used to love doing that

right on bro thats a beast. you must not have had a divorce yet lol

nah my go fast cars days are behind me it was fun but damn expensive. i had a modded E55 back in the day that sheared the woodruff key on the end of the crank off on a new car. the insanity of putting a new crank in that car still gives my bank account nightmares lol

This may seem hectic but I've been doing this for so long I don't remember sharing but this is how every Friday goes. Up at 4-6am scroll social media for a while, 7-8am at desk and type/emails/calls. 2-3pm pull comps and set up the weekends inspections off at 5-6pm. Inspect every Saturday 6am-6pm (light permitting) and Sunday 6am to when I have inspected them all. Type the rest of the week

4 orders per week if I can do it every week is the sweet spot. Fewer orders and I don't really work less hours, the hours I work just become less productive. More orders and I have to work more hours.
4/week at prevailing AMC fees is about $80K/year for fewer than 40 hours/week....not bad IMO although doing so while collecting retirement income is sweet...

I'm driving an E55 AMG and a CLS63 AMG--both probably older than younger appraisers. Both perform like new altough 2025 tax prep revealed about $12K in maintenance...

Subaru Crosstrek, Wilderness Ed. 19.7" clearance. Go's anywhere. Cheap.
Did the MB AMG 350, SL550, BMW I series, Vette Grand Sport, 944 (Totaled), Favorite was the BMW "Shark" C4 Convert. They had 2.5 CI and a 3.0 CI, had the 3.0)
3 a week, 4.5 hours each, add 2 hours market knowledge for each, 6.5 hours, $ 625. I don't even open AMC offers. I can do 3-4 more a week, IF it pays over $ 625. The new VA Fee is $ 825. They like us old, veterans who have seen 10,000 bad things in the Biz. Been there done that.
