Have cancelled a few. One for an aggressive guy that mentioned over and over how he protects his rights with guns. Another that called after inspection but before report was done to yell (yell!) about how he knew how much his new windows were worth and that he was putting us on notice he would file a complaint if he didn't get his value for the windows. Said his real estate agent relative told him he needed to call the appraiser up front and tell them what he "expected". Also, a few when the borrower ranted on the scheduling call with complaints about "the last guy" and how he showed him who was boss.

Love the response's from the "perfect appraisers' . Yes you are all much more mature than myself and obviously , much more professional. To those normal , average appraisers like myself, that are just trying to survive in this adversarial and brutal industry , I understand cancelling . I use conflict of interest as I am also a realtor in my market . We are in a industry that we have people telling us we do not know what we are doing on a daily basis. It is a shame that when we share our troubles here we are told again that we do not know what we are doing.
