How Many Windows 11 Updates So far this year.

It's easy to just change update settings to Manuel from automatic and just do them in off hours.

I personally never turn off any of the computers so updates are done auto in middle of the night and hardly no issues.

Mine is running smooth as my baby's bum.

Sing to the tune of Penelope Pit Stop calling for Underdog.

Oh where oh where can Windows 7 be, oh where oh where can it beeeeee.

why am I reading this as oh where oh where has my little dog gone... Is that from an Underdog cartoon? I've had that stuck in my head for decades

The only folks I've heard talking about Windows 7 are old appraisers.

I reluctantly moved to Windows
10 Professional and loved it and haven't had any big issues with Windows 11 either. I think people just don't like change and I get it but the new platforms coming out don't work well on the older Windows 7 machines for many people.

An update crashed my old laptop because the update required an update of the bios or something. Had to take to a tech to undo the update, then install the correct updated bios and then reload. To do what? Does the computer run better? Of course not.

That's because your hardwares so old and new software's a problem. But for a guy like you that doesn't use much newer software you can get a decent set up and monitor like a refurbished Dell for $300.00 bucks with Windows 11 installed. The prices unless your a gamer have crashed and no reason to F with old stuff anymore.

My little laptop requires me to log in to my health provider portal and refuses to save the log in. So, i have to log in my email address and a password. Meanwhile in the office on Win 10, I can open the app and one click puts the log in and password in the space and I go to it immediately.
If I'm following you correctly, this sounds like a browser settings or password manager issue, not an operating system level one.

I recommend LastPass - it will save and prefill passwords and logins all your devices.
