How Many Windows 11 Updates So far this year.

Yea. Typewriter, then I started with a commodore 64 appraisal typing, thank God. I also remember windows 3. So are you going to throw dirt on my grave.
But i guess old calling old, seems to fit this blog.
I own over 30 old IBM selectricts and have been selling parts to the few IBM typewriter repair guys left because believe it or not many are still used in banks to fill out simple index cards or things that can't be done on a tablet or computers word processor. But there certainly not making a comeback but I sell parts at high prices for desperate last users. Lol )

The platform will collapse. Look for Chrome and Linux to thrive

The typewriters that came along with the erasable tape built in made the report look better without using the white out.

That's because your hardwares so old and new software's a problem. But for a guy like you that doesn't use much newer software you can get a decent set up and monitor like a refurbished Dell for $300.00 bucks with Windows 11 installed. The prices unless your a gamer have crashed and no reason to F with old stuff anymore.
Yeah, I did that for my dad. Got him one of those cubical farm refurbished desktop Dells for very cheap both for his house and biz. Slapped malwarebytes on there and it's off to the races.

If YouTube clips complaining about Windows 11 are any measure, I think we may be seeing a serious shift away from Microsoft and adoption of Linux for business and to a lesser extent Mac, while the consumer will be moving to Chrome and Mac as Windows 11 is left in the dust. MS will have to offer a program that allows offline use and/or reintroduce Windows 10 (which is no improvement whatsoever over Windows 7).

All they have to do is revert everything back to Windows 7 with security updates....yeah right.... they're not going to do that.

Early versions like Windows 3.1 and Windows 7 featured functional local search capabilities. The evolution of Windows 10 and 11 introduced changes that are extremely frustrating. The main issue is the prioritization of cloud-based and web-integrated search over local file indexing.

It's not "your" program on your computer anymore where you can easily replace a corrupted file and have your program up and going easily...... we are now "renting" apps on an annual basis.

It's happening right before our very eyes in appraising with the 3.6 being a "cloud-based" form..... you always have to be online now..... the form software is not on your computer where you can work with it offline. Why do you think OneDrive and Google Drive is always prompting you to buy more space.

I just recently picked up a newer laptop and the first thing I did was delete OneDrive with Revo uninstaller. I want my files and my work on my computer.... not the cloud. I back important stuff up on an external drive, no big deal.

I still use typewriters for my lease using old lease and white out and type new changes. Wife says I should keep up with technology but it works for me.
Old lease terms are so favorable to landlord unlike current leases.
