As Nancy would say "just say NO" to hybrid assignments at their paltry fees.

What am I looking at here?

Here’s what you’re really looking at: this is a scorecard I received from Solidifi showing my “performance” last month. One appraiser in my area received 28% of the market share and over $10,000 in appraisal revenue—all from Solidifi. My share? Zero. Not a single dollar, not a single order. Why? Because I wouldn’t accept their artificially low, non-negotiable fees of $275–$300 for full-blown 1004 appraisals. Let that sink in—full interior inspections, full scope of work, for $275. This isn’t a competitive environment—it’s a rigged one. Solidifi and other AMCs are actively steering work to appraisers who’ll play along with suppressed fees, while shutting out anyone who pushes back.

And let’s not pretend this is unique to Solidifi—this is standard operating procedure among all of Scott’s Breakfast Buffet Boys. The same insiders keep making the rules, feeding their in-house appraisers and PDC runners, while independent professionals get starved out. It’s vertical control. It’s price-fixing. It’s market manipulation. And it’s exactly the kind of antitrust behavior that regulators should be investigating.

i assume at this point the hybrids are being tested against value acceptance to see how much farther they need to go for the full on borging... :rof:

Solidifi is a **** company. I did some work for them probably seven or eight years ago. A few a month, somewhat reliable. Then one of their reps called me and said if I would lower my feet to 280 They would send me enough work that I wouldn’t need any other clients. I told him **** off, didn’t do many after that.

I wonder if their chief appraiser’s GSE breakfast buddy, came up with that plan?

you poked the bear. Did they also want you to resubmit your fee form? Don't wake a sleeping bear. Don't get me angry.,

Ask Joan if she likes me when I am angry. LOL

Me and Joan had a love/hate relationship. We were like north and south poles on public trust.
