As I understand it, there will no numbers. 5 'types' of assignments: URAR (for SFD properties), Condo, Coop, MFG, and SRIP, but the 5 distinctions are really better pictured as modules rather than stand alone forms.

How is it that Fannie and Freddie worked together on uniform data collection and forms, but they could never agree on a uniform form number?

The appraisers and the public will be the beta testers....
Well that's kinda true but the two largest software providers have beta testers who work with the GSEs. The biggest problem is how much longer the few large provider's can survive.

The business is shrinking and I know one whose owner would sell in a NY minute but there are no buyer's and his kids don't want it. When he retires or dies it may just be given cheap to the one Core logic purchased. Nobody want's in the appraisal software business it's dying.

Ya think there's always been some sibling rivalry? Freddie's always been the little brother. I had always chalked it up to little brother not wanting the big brother to run everything. A bit passive-aggressive if you ask me... :ROFLMAO:

Nobody has ever called it a 70. It’s a 1004. Get over it!

without their forms...appraisers might experience freedom :rof:

That can happen - just don't do loan production work. That's your decision to make and nobody's stopping you.

Freddie was formed after Fannie.

Before I was born VA had their own forms.

So the 60% plus on here who voted hybrids are not USPAP compliant still believe Fannie is creating Non USPAP compliant Certifications ? My guess is they will all be doing them.
