As hard as many Appraisers are laughing at the ridiculous $60 hybrid fees being offered?.
IF that is what is actually being offered and enough appraisers refuse to work for such a ridiculously low fee, then more and more will be offered until they get enough appraisers to fulfill their orders....that is how the market works.

I wonder how hard the AMC's laughed when they received that ridiciluous "courtesy notification" from VACAP.

That is not how an oligopsony works with market power on price. You better pray for separation of fees. You may be subpoenaed in an antitrust lawsuit. That governor of LA won’t be focused on appraisers. He will be focused on the borrower and public trust.

They can subpoena me. I don't give a sh*t because I have nothing to hide, besides that I don't work for an AMC, so there is no reason for me to get pulled into your fantasy antitrust lawsuit in any case. You keep yapping about an oligopsony when there is none, but reality is not your thing in any case.

I find your opinion not credible. An oligopsony has market power on price. An oligopsony is a market structure. It is not a tit for tat like your elementary mind capitulates.

With the current market structure, appraisers would be much better engaged by government on appraisals for government insured institutions.

I am not a rocket scientist, but........govt insured? Hello?

In that case, I must be on the right track

You are amusing. I find your anticipation on volume particularly amusing. I hope Louisiana does subpoena you on price issues. Your company would pay you, Your prolly safe for subpoena. I wouldn’t subpoena you.
