Wow - where do I begin.

The big problem today is the I can not load images of any kind into my reports - and if I open an old report it wipes all of the images out of it. Poof - GONE.

It also will not do Census Tract lookups anymore either. Poof - GONE.

When trying to load a photo I get an Error Message that says it can not find CRDE2003.DLL says that its not in the search path? Which search path? How do I fix that? By the way, Windows-Piece-of-Crap-8.1 Search feature can not find a CRDE2003.DLL anywhere on the computer. Of course that's not to say that it does not exist because typically Windows-Piece-of-Crap-8.1 can not find it's *** with both hands. I've actually copied specific files onto to from a flash drive and then tried the search feature and it still could not find the files.

Any ideas? Anyone? Naturally I have a report that needs to go out tonight - Client will be calling in the early AM no doubt.

Thanks,
George

Not to rain on your parade but this kind of reminds me of those licensed appraisers who had years to upgrade to certified then began to complain when they failed to do so even though there was much forewarning .
This software is a dead horse, the writing has been on the wall for a long time. Hell it didn't work that great even before it stopped being updated.
Let it go. Let it go towards the light

I was hoping there was a fix but evidently not - I'm calling Alamode in morning - probably the way I'm going to go.

And no, I can't back track to Win-7, the fancy new laptop/tablet that I bought per the manufacturer can not run Win-7 as it does not have drivers to support the new hardware (Asus 2-in-1 Convertible laptop/tablet). Love the new machine - friggin can not stand Win-8.1, figure I'll step up to Win-10 Beta shortly.

Whenever you change your software, it is a pain in the rear and there is a learning curve....good luck with making the change

Pain in the backside is putting it lightly. I've put in a call to Alamode and they said they were going to email me a link for the download / free 30 day trial of their latest greatest Total Essentials - hours have gone by, several more emails and few more calls and still no follow-up email with said link - not a confidence builder.

And whatever software I go with / back to then there is not only the small learning curve but the huge amount of time rebuilding the databases with comments and various info.

Again, what a pain.

Have you tried just coping and pasting in the pics from the camera card??

I can not load, copy, drag, or in any other way get any image to go into a report. Worse yet, if I open an older report that was completed and had all of its images intact, the moment I open it ALL of the images go away - permanently.
