It's wonderful news that you are looking at putting together an FHA class. I haven't found any in the state of Tennessee that would be more than just going through a book. Although I have been doing FHA appraisals for only a short period of time, I would LOVE to take an actual classroom class. I think it would be of great benefit!! Reading material can only provide so much information that can be interpreted possibly incorrectly. Would love to have classroom info on manufactured homes appraisals for FHA and necessary repair items.

I really love the idea of an inspection and completing the appraisal. I've taken the AI class and it was a good class, but no one has put together live inspection.

You might even be able to do a virtual tour. Make it like a video game where the student controls going into the home and looking for the appropriate items, drives the comparables, completes the report. You could make CDs.
