They are in the midst of converting their technology to a new system and...well, this is what we have for this renewal.

Did anyone take the HUD FHA course for CE this past week? I know in GA they give 7hrs, i attended and am not sure how IL is about reciprocity for cont ed. Should i give it a shot or save the $50 application fee for reciprocity?

Realized you have to mail a check so that makes me wonder how long itll take to get reviewed. Course was wonderful so nothing lost regardless, thought id see if anyone else gave it a try in the past or present and what was end result

Is the course approved in Illinois?
You can review the approved Illinois courses from the Illinois appraiser website.

https://www.idfpr.com/profs/appraisal.asp

expand Continuing Education Information, click Approved Illinois Courses.

If not, you can submit a Request for Out-of-State CE Approval with your renewal application.

Sorry if i wasnt clear - HUD/FHA provided a day long seminar on their handbook this past week, they gave CE in the state of GA (where the office that hosted is based) but there were people in the seminar from all over the USA and many others will request approval for the 7hrs. They are not a 'provider' on that list obviously but periodic attendance was taken and we are provided with a certificate of completion typical of any other provider.

My question was if anyone else took advantage of it and knew if it would be approved or had similar situations in the past. Thanks

One of the richest states in the nation....it takes 10 minutes to renew in Arkansas if you are old and slow like me - Pathetic

Go to CE lookup and check if HUD/FHA submitted it to the state.
