If you applied for your renewal, have you received your license (or, the notice)?
yes after lots of back and forth and sending certificates that had already been logged on THEIR OWN CE lookup website. Curious as to your stance on the IDFPR and their complete lack of any direction to appraisers on this. They mishandled the renewal process and doubled down with no communication to those who hold licenses that we have worked so hard to obtain and maintain.

I know I read in one of your previous comments that they 'were doing their best' when it was quite simply the opposite, they were not doing anything. I know you have had involvement on the state board in the past and probably know a few people that are still over there, but this is not the place to come and preach loyalty to the state in this particular situation. This is my opinion of course, no offense intended - that just really rubbed me the wrong way.

As to "doing their best", my reference is to the too few people (yes, some of whom with which I have acquaintance) in Springfield who have been tasked with handling the mail-in renewals; these folks are not the decision-makers who brought us this most difficult renewal scenario.

So...who were the decision makers on this boondoggle. We need names.

I have no idea as to the inner-workings other than the state is in the midst of changing the technology and there is this interruption. I've been off the state board for 4 years now and am not privy to what's what on the inside.
