These types of incompetent, entitled bureaucrats make my blood boil
My educated guess is that the folks in Springfield are doing everything possible on their end to get things done. I can well imagine that Mary et al aren't thrilled with the way that licenses have to be renewed this year.

I emailed Mary my idiotic sexual harassment certificate yesterday, but didn't get a reply that she received it. I emailed it again today, asking that she reply, but still nothing.

There's no excuse for this, it's a total s**t show.
She likely has it, but, I have to imagine that she and others have quite a bit on their hands right now. I understand that it is frustrating.

So then, what managerial genius decided to make online unavailable during a pandemic? Let's see, Amazon takes online credit card payments and seamlessly delivers millions of packages...Illinois wants check sent through snail mail so that an office where most are at home can do manual processing.

Too effing precious.

Okay, so on the IDFPR license lookup page I’m showing as renewed through 2023, and sending that stupid sexual harassment certificate was, indeed, the issue. I can’t believe that, but it’s true.

Hopefully the physical license shows soon, as these client portals aren’t going to care about what IDFPR says.

Good luck to all going forward…

There's an option at the IDFPR website to print your renewed license. I just now checked and I viewed my printable renewed license.

The Peter Principle
Although I've had my disagreements with some decisions by the Illinois Board, I've never thought they were lazy, incompetent, etc. I think they're doing the best they can with the limited resources the State has provided. Believe it or not, it could be a lot worse ...

I sent my sex cert to above MARY, she sent back now wanting to know if the provider is licensed with the department ???? WTF, this is not CE !!!

How could they not know whether or not the provider is licensed with the department? they are the ones that keep the list of licensed providers.
