"Inflation is coming down"

There is something wrong with those figures. It's probably a per-person estimate. I just paid $140 for four pies, for pity's sake.
What kind of pies were they. I will me making a pumpkin and an apple for less than $10

That article making that claim is being roasted from coast to coast.
If I buy the frozen store brand turkey for $1.99lb it would be $30 just for the turkey. No way I could complete the meal for 10 people for just $28 more. Unless it was just mashed potatoes, stuffing and green bean casserole.

Dublin, what do you want me to say? I got two pumpkin, a pecan and a apple pie at the designer pie store.

I kinda figured that and I wouldn't expect any less. So was the "designer" a blonde or brunette (I left out redheads because I don't believe you are full tilt Bozo)

Plan to start quail farming next spring as well. Don't hunt any more - can't keep up with bird dogs any longer - but still love 'em.
Me too... too crippled to walk. I've always had some limits that way but with a Brittany, I used to pheasant hunt because he worked close. They flush so you watched his tail when it started wagging about 4x faster than normal he was close to flushing.

Spent many a morning out in west Texas with my English Pointers - would walk 5-6 miles before lunch. Just can't do it any longer. Nothing like watching a bird dog go on point.

I was thinking of buying a live Christmas tree this year. When I saw the prices I'm surprised how high they have gotten.
I may have to bring back my artificial tree from the basement.
I wasn't going to buy a fresh tree this year but my Princess Daughter wanted a tree. I still spoil her.
Instead of my usually 7-8 feet Noble Fir, I got a smaller 6-7 footer.
Regular price is $79.99. Didn't know prices have gone that high.
