Do not pay for parking!

For anyone planning on attending, either the actual convention or the Monday night after party......make sure you tell the parking attendant you are going to the Contemporary. They should wave you through the gate. Otherwise you'll be hit for an $8.00 parking fee!!

I got this e-mail in April. Didn't you get it? Are you staying at the hotel? I waited too long so I'll be commuting back and forth.

Tuesday Panel Lunch
On June 6th, we’ve lined up a special event for our lunch session. David Biggers, chairman of a la mode, will lead an open and frank discussion of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley act and its impact on appraisers. You may have heard that GLB doesn’t really apply to appraisers, but this session should open your eyes. The reality is that several aspects of GLB will require appraisers to change how they do business. We'll be serving a plated lunch (no sandwich boxes here) and your choice of non-alcoholic beverage. On Tuesday evening, we're hosting a gala for dinner and dancing. We'll start at 7:00 PM with drinks and cocktails from the open bar, then serve an excellent dinner buffet. We'll have selections of beef, chicken, fish and plenty of delicious sides and desserts. We’ll also have a DJ starting the music directly after dinner, so the real fun can begin. Oh, that's right...Yes I'll be by the pool - after all I was the one who originally suggested the time and place! I have to leave the convention to come back for another meeting on Tuesday afternoon, but will be there from Sunday afternoon until it ends on Wednesday. We are staying at the Contemporary. Can't wait to see everybody!
