You know, it's pretty funny when we get these people in here bragging about the 20 appraisals they complete every week then get all insulted when they get accused of shoddy work. It's kind of like talking up your recent African safari at a PETA convention.

ROFL:laugh:

Just like the new England Patriots I’m 18-0, not really I just printed bill #10 for the month.

I'm pretty sure Jallen could do 160 a month, if he just didn't have to double verify all those comps.

One wonders if the level of forethought evidenced in misunderstanding the mood of this forum can be found in any of those 20 weekly reports.

About two years ago I posted something about doing 20 reports every two weeks and was immediately marked as a "skippy". This was by some people in fly-over states that didn't quite understand that buisness in the DC metro hadn't slowed down and furthermore did it without not knowing things like the large area I covered and the fact that some of the counties in that area were the fastest growing in the country in population and new housing starts plus were some of the best appreciating areas in the DC metro. It really put me off. They were all knowing b/c they lived in Findlay, Ohio or the UP of Michigan or BFE Kansas, etc, etc, etc. I don't pretend to know anything of about markets outside my own market and a little about the two that touch me to the south (Richmond and Charlottesville), beyond that I take people at their word.

"Fly over states"

Gosh, its hard to understand why you weren't treated with more respect. :new_smile-l:

Edit to add - maybe it was when you started calling people d-bags that things went wrong.

Well hell...didn't you hear Melody Gibson this morning on Good Morning America..."housing market will not recover until late 2008 or possibly even 2009". Everyone is an expert!

Then she went on to say, "great time to refinance". I say...wait as long as you can, the bail out is in the works.

Been quiet here too.
