I understand Wachovia has gone to completely in house appraisals. I undrtstood they will be are are starting to use only the stff appraisers now. I havent had anyhting from them for a bit.

Freddie my man, the shop I work for gets plenty of orders from Wachovia each month. I work on the southern and western fringe of the DC Metro and I've recieved three or four from Wachovia in the last month. I am not sure how many we (the shop) has received for the inner suburbs, DC and Maryland. On the other hand a friend of mine who also gets work from Wachovia said he has only gotten one order in the last six months.

January is very slow so far.

Could be cuz Wachovia is on my sh@tlist. Agreed to my fee in writing on a complex assignment, then sends a check for $125 less....what they normally pay for a 1004.

You know, it's pretty funny when we get these people in here bragging about the 20 appraisals they complete every week then get all insulted when they get accused of shoddy work. It's kind of like talking up your recent African safari at a PETA convention.

One wonders if the level of forethought evidenced in misunderstanding the mood of this forum can be found in any of those 20 weekly reports.
