One of the things I need to do is take the 15 hour USPAP. After reading the first page of this thread I've decided I'll be taking the online class with McKissock. Big thanks to the OP and the insite from some of the more civilized appraisers. One or two of you others need to get some Prozac.
Go for it kid. The less you take the more you'll know. USPAP only subtracts from the sum total of your knowledge. Take all the McKissock courses...you'll be smarter than us all....combined. While you are at it, fabricate your experience log and buy a degree online....heck in 6 weeks you can be a CG appraiser AND an MAI....

What I like is that after a few years the crowd that does everything on the fast and cheap have convinced themselves that are really good at what they do and they start getting into litigation where the get fried.

Easy money facing these folks.

Some of them also come here and express horror at others doing the same thing they did. Gotta love it.

insite???

...

in site, incite, insight...who would know the difference 'cept me and thee?

Spelling doesn't matter on a form. 2 hour reports for $110. I wonder why no one respects my profession? He practices sorcery, ergo is smarter than I.

I get way too much out of the actual classroom hours to feel as if I would benefit from the online classes. I'm not a huge fan of taking the USPAP class, but I can honestly say I always learn something.
