Letter From FNMA 'Baptist' can't be in report...

Even to the extent that is true it doesn't alter your professional obligations.

You've done plenty of work for bad people before. Everyone has. That's not an excuse for us to engage in misconduct on our end.

looks like baptist is an acceptable term... :rof: :rof: :rof:
By that warped rationale it looks like a lot of objectionable terms are also "acceptable" by virtue of not being explicitly listed. Go ahead, refer to the residents by some fighting words slur and see how "acceptable" that term is.

While church attendance has declined in the United States as a whole, California has many notable churches and religious communities:

  • Megachurches
California has more megachurches than any other state, and Saddleback Church in Lake Forest is the largest church in the state.
SF has large church (Glide Memorial) in bad part of town. It feeds many poor people. Nancy and other politicians would go there for photo opts.
The church must get lots of donations and I assume from government.
Other than large notable churches, many small churches do not appear to be as active in serving the community.

Church on every corner in Texas - spread the word, Fern! We gotta stop the influx of uninformed Californians.
So it is true there's a church on every block. Rather mindblowing.

This still isn't a 1A issue. You are writing reports for lenders who are required to comply with fair lending, ECOA and civil rights law. This isn't the public square.

If a lender has the right to "not accept" an appraisal report with ANY term they have banned in an attempt to comply with the law then the question at hand becomes a matter of how many such terms can they reject.
