Churches are not that important here. I heard they're very popular in Texas.

Memphis and Shelby County had the largest public school system in the nation. So we have like 7 or 8 different cities in Shelby County. They said we are separating and they did. They raised taxes a little to do it, but they finally got it separated. Trust me it makes a difference on property values. Places of worship can be the same way. We are in heart of the bible belt.

But does the actual name of the school or place of worship make a difference. Does St. Mary's school support a different range of prices than St. Agnes' because of the name of the school or does where they are located make the difference

No, not locally. Memphis area is kinda a melting pot on religions. But schools and places of worship can have a huge impact on real property values. If you are rich, you can move real close to a private school in Memphis and send your kids to that school K-12.

Churches don't pay taxes. Since less used, better converted for tax revenue.

I have two grandbabies going to a private daycare that also does K-12 in the heart of Memphis. My daughter and son in law are both medical professionals and make good money.

They know how I feel about affordable healthcare and health insurance companies. My wife works in healthcare. She knows.

Drug companies are another pet peeve of mine and what they charge here vs other major nations that are healthier than us per capita.

Is Baptist a code word?
I don't know. It could be Baptist, Lutheran, Catholic, Jehovah Witness, Mormon and it would be same Christian word to me.
Some would find it negative to be next to a religious school.
Best to keep any religious connotation from report.

Don't get me going there. Many local very nice places of worship spend tons of money sending people overseas. Memphis is very poverty stricken.............Hello?
