Liability Insurance?

This is great timing. I just got my E&O renewal notice and was wondering about this very issue.

When I was a rep for a medical insurance company I had an umbrella/GL policy for a million. I probably should do this again.

I have been relying on Greg's plan for most issues.

I will call Landy on Monday and see what they think.

Take photos. Lots of them. Keep them for a few weeks after inspection. 1,000 words. No fire, no broken Ming Vase, nothing out of the ordinary in any room or space in the house. I was there, I didn't do it here is proof!

If the policy is an umbrella 1 mil which covers all liability. Including AUTO, Home, Personal and E & O I would keep it but not advertise that I have it.

That is not the case with my insurance- I do not believe it covers any of the items you mentioned- although there are some grey areas. This policy baically covers business buildings, business personal property, loss of income, general business liability, property damage legal liability, medical payments, etc...

This has worked well for me in the past. I always burn my photos to disk and save tham indefinitley as well.

I was playing disc golf at a local park with my son and he hurled a disc into the grill of a moving car. I was suprised to find that my homeowners insurance covered this. If this is the case then wouldn't it cover some of the accidents we are discussing here?
