So I guess I might as well just play the Lottery.

How can you mandate this procedure and not mandate that CR Appraisers act as supervisors for a percentage of their time.

Is it just me, or does something smell here? Or am I just not getting it???

I do split fee appraisals for several firms and a small amount of work under my own banner....How could the State possibly mandate that I take on a trainee.....(which BTW per the IRS would have to be an employee). If you take a look around there are several schools which give out poor info....we have one down here that is terrible....

If you have that statment in writing from the school, I would be sending a copy to the State...

As for getting your name on the report, at the very least you should be identifed in the addendium....at the most you should be signing on the left....

I agree with you Tony, but how can the "state" tell you you have to work with a CRA to get your experience in then......and that is the only way...so if NO ONE wants to take on a trainee...then I guess no one else gets a license.

I guess it works out well for those of you that were lucky enough to get in prior to all this.

Not really.....we are pretty much struggling also....

The rules were wriitten without any thoughts toward to future...(now there is a suprise)....just like those that used thier houses as an ATM....and are now screwed...

I really don't know what the solution is....you kinda get the feeling that it is like a pyrimid scheme....those that are last in are F'd....

It really comes down to supply vs demand....If you look at the jobs board...you can see how many Certs are looking for some work....
