Not sure I understand this comment, I'm not an IT consultant offering email setup services to appraisers... Grabbing a domain on namecheap takes 5 mins and just $10 per year. Hooking it up to gmail pro takes maybe 30 mins and no technical skills (other than internet competency). When you get right down to it, IT Professionals in the appraisal related fields need for appraisers to be reliant on their profession or there would be no IT Professional appraisal related fields.
Acquiring a "professional name" on "namecheap"..... kind of seems like an oxymoron.....Grabbing a domain on namecheap takes 5 mins and just $10 per year
It's just one of the more popular domain registrars. I can't recommend godaddy any more.Acquiring a "professional name" on "namecheap"..... kind of seems like an oxymoron.....
Not putting you down....just an observation.
Looks like they even have email hosting for $2 a month, as well. Seems like a no-brainer:This is a good one as well but haven't used it myself: https://porkbun.com
Nonsense. It makes as much sense as Nando saying that appraisers need fancy cars, (used to be Tesla but now the libs hate them).I bet if a survey was conducted, it would reveal that the appraisers with a decent website (and SEO story), a professional email domain instead of HotAppraiser3@yahoo.com, are in the appraiser directories and have Google reviews set up - are in the upper percentile of high earning appraisers.
You're over 45, aren't you? Anyone under that age does online research before engaging in business with people now.Nonsense. It makes as much sense as Nando saying that appraisers need fancy cars, (used to be Tesla but now the libs hate them).
Nothing says professional like a good work product. Nobody, except maybe you, think a 'fancy' website/email address matters.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was that cheap to get a domain on the cheap. I love cheap for good value. Not sure I understand this comment, I'm not an IT consultant offering email setup services to appraisers... Yeah, I don't use Venmo. You're over 45, aren't you? Anyone under that age does online research before engaging in business with people now.
A professional website absolutely does matter as does a web presence. It's 2025; I'm 100% correct on this stance.
