Fayette County could be a little rough if went in there with an attitude. Tipton County too. You don't go in those offices with an attitude. Lauderdale could get bad too if you went in there with an attitude.
I was on the VA panel for Shelby and Fayette County. I never could get on VA for Tipton County but I primarily worked Tipton for many years.

Wild and you worked for Shelby County assessor's office?

I had to beg to get off Fayette and Tipton. I know Lauderdale like the back of my hand.

Shelby is all I can handle. Bunch of veterans locally.

I get some really wicked assignments locally. Make no mistake about it. Some areas in East TN get higher fees than west Tn.

Not at the same time. I could have still done fee appraisals in Fayette and Tipton, but not in Shelby County. It is the only county in TN with year round tax appeals (all the big tax reps are located in Memphis) and it was exhausting. I didn't want to to do side work in other counties.

Idk. VA does what they want. I am sure you had no problems getting approved where you are now.

Fayette, Tipton, and Lauderdale are actually easier to work than Shelby County. Shelby County just don't like mobile homes.
