You are blaming the ENV format for shortcomings in your forms software

I sent many ENV files and they all looked exactly as intended, graphs, photos and all. However not all forms software has a good UI for the appraiser using ENV. One in particular wanted their own format adopted as the ENV standard and when that did not happen they retaliated by making their software difficult and telling the appraisers that ENV changed their reports - which is totally false
I've read the env reports. Env won't read graphs and photos in your additional comments. They also didn't take certain additional pages and it rearranged the order. They had size limits as well. I was using both a la mode and Sfrep... hardly some rogue software. I refused to do them. Mind you, they probably have improved it since I've done one, which had been 5 years ago. From what I understand, not many require it. Usually a crappy AMC required it.

If ENV Reports are indeed causing a problem for some of the Lender/Clients then I would imagine they would do something about it.

I really don't care because I retain in my work file the True Copy of the Report I sent.

AMCs don't give a crap.
And knowlying sending something to a client that is not your true report may fall under USPAP violation. Sounds kind of misleading, if you ask me.

Actually I have not been sending anything knowingly that is possibly deficient. Why, because no one has said anything. I did not know about this until today

Well, now you know, so a USPAP squad car might be on its way to your house.

If one is going to use the ENV format, then it is incumbent on that person to learn how the format differs. Yes, it is true that if one just prepares a report the same way they would prepare it for MISMO XML, then the report will not appear as intended. But, if one takes the time to learn how it works, then it is not an issue. I sent lots of ENV reports with graphs, etc., and they all ended up looking exactly as I intended (verified using an ENV reader). Of the two software companies you mentioned, one makes that pretty easy and one makes it pretty difficult.

Sorry, I meant ENV.
My reports are filled with graphs and photos in the comments, which don't show up with env. Even some photo pages are deleted. It also rearranges the report or order.

Simple solution that I have used for well over a decade: Put all of your graphs and images on Extra Map Pages that you add to the report. I have never put any images or graphs in the addendum. Problem solved. :)

There are too many graphs and inserts that I put in, not to mention the confusion it creates by every paragraph saying see photo 5a on page 53. It turns a nice flowing, easy to read report to a Mongolian cluster fk... esp when you condense the 2 inch by 8" graphs to fit into an unreadable small photo frame.

Perhaps that is why the suggestion from Alsie was to use the extra maps pages rather than the additional photo pages.

I love .env file requests. That's an instant +$50 for that service. Clickforms used to charge $99 annually to have the ability to create .env files.
